Massage had many heating and warming elements, not much of smooth swedish or pressure technique. The only poor aspect of the facility was the single bathroom/shower and locker room combo that was CO-ED. A major problem for me when I needed to shower after the oil scalp treatment. I addressed the problem with the front desk and they blithely said they were trying to expand, gave no apology for lack of warning when I was shown to the changing area at the beginning of my visit. They should convert one of the many vacant treatment rooms into private changing and shower facilities. Blu Water Day Spa takes me into a state of total bliss unless Im getting a bikini wax! Ive only been there for waxing services with Teresa and have been fabulously satisfied. Teresa is meticulous. My eyebrows can get out of control, and she takes the time to not only wax them but also to groom each one individually with tweezers and scissors. An eyebrow wax with anyone else would take just a few minutes, but Teresa takes her time and clearly shows pride in her work. The prices here are higher than youd pay in a salon, and its completely worth paying the premium. I love Blu Water Day Spa!!
